We Are The Sunset
The debut We Are The Sunset gathering at Filly Brook sees resident Andy Taylor joined by WATS fav Nancy Noise for a daytime session.
Starting at 3pm and rolling til 9pm they’ll be playing in the club room with our custom vintage sound set up of Tannoy Berkeleys, Little Reds and JBL subs - in other words a really nice sound system 🔈🎵
Anyone who has been to one of our recent parties will tell you how good the sound and vibe is so it’ll be great to see friendly faces on the dance floor.

International Women’s Day
Saturday 8th March is International Women’s Day and to celebrate we’ll have our all-star cast of our favourite women DJs bringing the good vibes on Saturday night.
FB’s own Mimi and Laura aka 'daytime-teevee' will be joined by one of our residents Dem, who will host the decks from 7pm til midnight, playing everything from house and disco to neo-soul and R&B to Afrobeat and amapiano bangers!
We’ve also teamed up with our good friends at Pretty Decent to bring you a first pour of their excellent beer Meerkat Fiesta which has been brewed by all the brilliant women at PD. They’ve thrown everything at this including their favourite hops Nectarine, Motueka and Mosaic making this 6.2% hazy NEIPA a reflection of everything these ladies love to drink.
Not only that, the amazing folks at PD have gifted us some of this beer allowing us to donate £2 from each pint sold to our chosen charity - Furnishing Futures, who create healing homes for women and children who have been rehoused after escaping domestic abuse. We'll also be adding an optional £1 to every bill to further fundraise for this amazing charity, who's support of women is inspirational.

Bite The Day w/ the Idjut Boys
The first of our birthday plans to be announced is actually the closing party as Bite The Day, the Idjut Boys wonky Sunday afternoon party returns.
Bite The Day has been getting better and better since it began last year and perfectly captures the spirit of FB so we’re pretty excited that this next instalment is set to be another special one as Dan & Conrad bring our 5th Birthday celebrations to a close.
They will also be launching their new Bite The Day record label with the release of BTD01 Idjut Boys feat. Dolla Man ‘Yagga Yao’.
If you’ve been to one of these parties before then you know the deal, if not you can expect a Tannoy and JBL bass sound system with the Idjuts at the controls for 6 hours bringing basement vibes to a Sunday afternoon.

Birthday Wine Party
Our wine list has been constantly evolving and expanding since we opened back in February 2020 and a lot has changed since then.
So to celebrate our 5th birthday we’re bringing back some of our favourite wines from the last five years, bottles that we still love and have played their part in shaping where our list is today.
Not only are we bringing back these classics we’re also bringing back 2020 pricing for one night only! With a bit extra FB birthday love thrown in all of these wines will be available for just £5 a glass* from 5pm on Thursday 27th Feb.
On hand to guide you through the wines will be James Eaton from Ellis Wines who will also be hosting a raffle to win prizes on the night.

Beer Collabs! We love a collab so to celebrate our birthday we’ve been out brewing party beers with friends at FIVE of our favourite breweries, The Kernel, Terra Tempo, Gravity Well, Howling Hops & Pretty Decent
We'll be offering each of these beers at a birthday busting price of £5/pint-2/3 all night.
The Kernel - Pale Ale (Citra, Mosaic, Taiheke) 5.2%
There’s not much we haven’t already said about how consistently good we think The Kernel are so you can imagine how happy we were when Evin and the team said yes to Max and Harris heading down to Bermondsey for a brew day with them. We love a Kernel Pale and this one has been brewed with the FB team in charge of hop selection. Respect!
Howling Hops - Single Hop (Strata) - Pale Ale 4.8%
A first time collab with the Howling Hops crew, Max spent the day with the brew team over in neighbouring Hackney Wick digging out the mash tun and slinging the hops into this Strata heavy Single Hop pale. Always hazy and juicy, HH beers never disappoint.
Pretty Decent - Live Fast Fly Young - West Coast Pale (Simcoe, Citra, Strata) 5%
Pretty Decent is the brewery we’ve collab'd with the most over the years and there’s a good reason for that, their beer is consistently brilliant and they are always up for brewing something a little on the leftfield side which suits us just fine. Their hospitality is second to none too which makes the long brew days fly by! Big up!
Gravity Well - Perihelion - Pale Ale (Citra, Motueka) 5%
The very first collab beer we brewed was with local juice bomb legends Gravity Well back when they were in their original Leyton Midland brewery so it goes without saying that they had to be involved again. Simon and Tash had the enviable task of brewing this one and judging by the huge amount of Citra hops they dumped in this is going to be another banger from GW.
Terra Tempo - Emperor Machine - Barrel Aged Ale 6%
A relative newcomer to the brewing world Terra Tempo have been quietly making some amazing wild ales down in Surrey powered by solar energy and hops from the field next door. Influenced by music and some of the releases on Simon’s Leng and Spacetalk record labels, there’s always a story to go with Terra Tempo beers and this collab is no different. Taking inspiration from the recent album on Leng, ‘Island Boogie’ by Emperor Machine we went for a tropical explosion of mango, pineapple, starfruit, coconut and vanilla to brighten up our February.

Back when we saved this building from becoming just another block of flats, we had no idea what the future would hold. Opening at the start of a pandemic was a challenge, but here we are—five years later, thriving, dancing, and ready to raise a glass with all of you.
This milestone isn’t just about us—it’s about you. Every drink shared, every meal enjoyed, every dance floor moment—you made this possible.
So, a huge thank you to everyone who has come to see us over the years, to those who have celebrated their birthdays and weddings with us, to the djs, musicians and artists and of course to the amazing FB team past and present.

As we ease further into 2025 and the dust finally settles, join us as we put the Filly Brook Super Sound through its paces. Brian Not Brian and Piers Harrison invite Norwegian DJ and label owner Espen Haa for a Sunday daytime session of epic proportions.
Brian and Piers are 2 of London's most recognisable record freaks and have many years in 'the game' and at the controls and love nothing more than a multi-sound, genre-fluid throw-down. Veterans of the global DJ scene and tireless champions of the odd / smudgy / unloved and grooving, this duo are making waves with their remixes and forthcoming original productions. Watch your bass-bins.
Our special guest Espen Haa hails from the Norsk capital of Oslo, and is also renowned as a versatile selector and DJ. He has royal Norwegian disco blood pumping through his veins and helms the mighty fine Neppa label, reissuing and reimagining sonic treats from the dusty corners of the musical world. A longtime fixture on Oslo's underground since WAY BACK, he will bring his unique flavour to Filly Brook.
This will be a special and memorable session; you will hear incredible music all day.
Entry is FREE, and there are 50 special handmade CDs - selected, mixed and put together by Brian and Piers - for the first people on the dance floor. Don't sleep!

Expect 4 top wines from some of their favourite styles, varietals and regions, all talked through by BWC head honcho Mr. Redley.

NYE HOUSE Party with Faze Action (DJ Set), Jools Butterfield (Village Underground) & Leng Records

The end of the year is fast approaching so it’s once again time for the Filly Brook New Years Eve house party!
These are always a straight up party, no tables, no kitchen just djs through to 2am and this year we welcome long time friend of FB and one of our regular spinners, Simon Lee aka Faze Action.
Simon Faze is a djs dj, one who has been at the forefront of the nu-disco movement since it’s inception in the early 90’s, a time when Faze Action were releasing pivotal records on the hugely influential nuphonic record label. Since then he has amassed a deep knowledge of all things house, disco, Brazilian, Latin and above all else Party!
Joining Faze will be another ex-nuphonic dj Jools Butterfield who, along the way created the Lovebox festival with Groove Armada and now runs Village Underground. His musical knowledge also runs deep so expect a full on party set.
Completing the line up is FB owner and Leng Records boss Simon who also used to be part of the nuphonic family back in the day so this is a real reunion.
If you’ve been to one of our NYE parties you’ll know how much attention to detail we put into making these parties a fitting end of year send off. If you’ve not been before then you need to come and hear the sound system in full effect.
